ADM continues handing over second batch of Al Falah Houses

Abu Dhabi: The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, for the second day running, continued to hand over the second batch of Al Falah communal houses to eligible citizens totaling 1,000 citizens, of those whose applications have been approved. The project comes in implementation of the grant of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the directives of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The Municipality deployed vehicles to offer mobile services to people with special needs at their own domiciles to complete the handing over procedures in the context of the Municipality’s keenness to provide the best services and expedite the handing over process at the earliest.

The Municipality has handed over yesterday more than 70% of houses to eligible recipients, thanks to the immediate procedures taken in implementation of the Decree. The Municipality commissioned a dedicated work team in this regard and started receiving the entitled beneficiaries to complete their handing over procedures in a flexible mechanism to realize this objective.

Al Falah Residential City is a perfect example of cooperation between all sectors in Abu Dhabi towards realizing the strategic objectives, and reflects the commitment of Abu Dhabi Government to realizing the Vision of Abu Dhabi 2030 through establishing sustained ‘&’ superb communities capable of protecting ‘&’ enhancing the Emirati identity and uplifting the standard of living.

The Project comprises 4857 villas spanning a total area of about 12.5 million square meters, and housing a host of facilities distributed over 5 residential districts; each one has public utilities including mosques, schools, communal amenities and a cocktail of shops.

The first two phases of the Project encompass the construction of 2000 communal houses along with their utilities ‘&’ services in addition to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Mosque with a capacity to accommodate 2000 prayers.

The public utilities are located nearby residential blocks, and a central court is provided for the entire project combining all services ‘&’ facilities, including a mall, hospital and offices.

The Project features a creative architectural design befitting typical life patterns of Emirati families, and contributes to consolidating the social fabric, thanks to the provision of parks and open areas within the residential, commercial and recreational neighbourhood of the Project.
