ADM rolls out second educative campaign: ‘Our Parks’

Abu Dhabi, Nov 25th, 2012 (WAM) — The Community Service Division, Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, recently kicked off its second awareness campaign for parks and public gardens entitled ‘Our Parks’ from the Airport Park.

The Campaign, which was rolled on last Tuesday will run until 15th March 2013, and is undertaken in the wake of the success and favourable impact generated by the first campaign among park visitors.

“The second campaign running in coordination with several government and private organizations including Emirates Heritage Club, General Women’s Union, Specialist Medicine Hospital, Takatof Foundation, and the Institute of Applied Technology is aimed at uplifting the environmental awareness and urban outlook of parks and recreational facilities, and embedding the values ‘&’ attitudes capable of protecting the components of parks from all disfiguring elements,” said Ali Al Amari, Director of Community Services Department Acting, Municipality of Abu Dhabi City.

It is worth mentioning that ‘Our Parks’ campaign will tour a number of parks including the Arabian Gulf Park, Officers’ Club, Family Park, Tourist Club (Nadi Siyahi), Narjeel Park, Bain Al Jisrain Park, Al Wathba Park, Bani Yas Public Park, Al Shahama New Park, Al Rahba Park and Al Bahya Park.
