Al Azhar Grand Imam, His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, received today Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal.
HE praised strong and deep relations between Al Azhar Al Sharif and the Kingdom of Bahrain, commending the role of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in fostering tolerance, peaceful co-existence and inter-religious and cultural dialogue. He also praised HM’s efforts in serving Arab and Islamic issues, wishing the ambassador every success in her duties.
Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal voiced Bahrain’s appreciation for the role of Al Azhar Al Sharif in promoting the moderate Islamic precepts.
