BAHRAIN: IAA PRESIDENT LAUDS STRONG FRATERNAL RELATIONS WITH SAUDI ARABIA

MANAMA, Nov. 27 — President of the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi lauded strong historic fraternal relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia describing them as a model to emulate in pan-Arab work thanks to the directives of the King and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

He was speaking as he received President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) Abdullah bin Fahad Al Hussain on the sidelines of Bahrain’s hosting of FANA 42nd conference.

He lauded cooperation between both countries in the media field, commending the efforts of FANA in boosting news and information exchange.

He stressed the responsibility of the Arab media in maintaining the civilisational and cultural identity, promoting security and stability and debunking fallacies transparently and credibly.
