Ballot boxes prepared for the May 13 local elections, says commission

RAMALLAH� The Central Election Commission (CEC) began Wednesday preparing ballot boxes and printing out of the voters’ list in preparations for the upcoming local council elections, according to a statement.

Around 1300 ballot boxes will be filled with electoral material including the voters’ list for each polling station to be later on distributed to polling centers in the localities of the West Bank in which elections will be held on May 13.

It should be indicated that the final day for withdrawal of nominations for electoral lists is April 28. The final register of electoral lists and candidates will be published on April 29 coinciding with the beginning of election campaigning activities which will run for 13 days according to elections timeline.
