Casualties reported during Israeli army raid of Jenin

JENIN � A number of Palestinians were injured on Saturday after they were shot by Israeli forces during a raid of the city of Jenin, in the north of the West Bank, and its refugee camp, said witnesses.

They told WAFA correspondent that clashes broke out in the refugee camp following the Israeli army raid during which soldiers opened fire at the residents resulting in three injuries. They were taken to Jenin hospital for treatment.

The soldiers raided several homes in the city and camp and detained three Palestinians while two were given summons to appear before the Israeli intelligence at Salem military camp, west of Jenin.
