Consensus Government demands prompt intervention to stop Israeli aggression on besieged Gaza

RAMALLAH, The National Consensus Government demanded a prompt intervention to stop the Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip on Saturday, which so far left two minors killed and injured almost a dozen others.

government spokesman Yousef al-Mahmoud in a press statement issued on Saturday, affirmed that intensive contacts with all regional and international sides are underway to stop the Israeli aggression on the Strip.

The spokesman maintained that the Israeli occupation authorities constantly work on pushing the situation toward further escalation; though the pursuing of unarmed civilians, the shedding of the blood of peaceful protesters, and the targeting of medical personnel and journalists.

He reiterated the call for the world countries to make a prompt and urgent intervention in order to stop this dangerous escalation, and the shedding of innocent blood, urging to exert all necessary efforts in order to regain hope in the possibility of achieving peace in Palestine, the region, and in the world.
