COVID-19 claims the life of 20 people in Palestine, 498 new cases, and 821 recoveries

RAMALLAH, COVID-19 claimed the life of 20 people in Palestine as 498 new cases were recorded, and 821 patients recovered, according to Minister of Health Minister Mai Alkaila.

She said in her daily report on coronavirus in Palestine that 14 people died in the West Bank of the disease, as 154 new cases were recorded, and 419 patients recovered.

In the Gaza Strip, six people died, 344 new cases recorded, and 402 recovered.

Alkaila said 78 patients remain in intensive care, among them 25 are on ventilators.

She also said that 230,540 people in the West Bank have been vaccinated, and 38,752 people in the Gaza Strip.
