COVID-19 death toll in Palestine reaches 19 in 24 hours as 2366 new cases were confirmed

RAMALLAH, COVID-19 claimed the life of 19 people in Palestine in the last 24 hours as 2366 new cases were recorded, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

She said in her daily report on the pandemic in Palestine that nine of the deaths were in the West Bank and 10 in the Gaza Strip.

The West Bank also recorded 839 new coronavirus new cases and 804 recoveries, while the Gaza Strip had 1527 new cases and 1358 recoveries.

Alkaila said 185 corona patients are getting treatment in hospitals and 77 are in intensive care while 17 are on ventilators.

A total of 1,255,840 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus in Palestine so far and 525,544 have received the second dose.
