Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, met with the Counselor of the US Department of State, Derek Chollet, on the sidelines of his participation in the meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy praised the advanced level of bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation, pointing out the positive outcomes of strategic partnership between the two friendly countries.

Both sides also reviewed ways of boosting joint cooperation mainly in the financial and economic fields. They also discussed the latest global economic developments.
