FOREIGN MINISTER DEPARTS KUWAIT FOR ARAB MEETINGS IN CAIRO

KUWAIT, Nov 29- Kuwait First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, departed Kuwait early today (Saturday), flying to Egypt, where he would head an official delegation, at the extraordinary session of the Arab League ministerial council, scheduled in Cairo later today.

The minister will also chair a meeting of the Arab peace initiative committee, due on sidelines of the ministerial meeting.

It will be attended by Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, who will give a briefing about the latest developments, concerning the Palestinian cause and Israel’s practices in Jerusalem.

The minister, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, is accompanied by a number of ministry officials.

The Arab League had announced, the extraordinary meeting would follow up on the implementation of previous resolutions, regarding the Palestinian issue, Israeli hostile acts in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, Israeli settlements’ question, Arab national security and combating terrorism.
