The French Foregin Ministry said that returning to the two-state solution and living side by side in peace and security, have become an urgent necessity more than ever, noting that it represents the only solution that guarantees a just and lasting peace for the Israelis and the Palestinians.

In a statement issued today, the French Foreign Ministry expressed its “concern about the danger of escalation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip” following the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces yesterday in the Jenin camp, which killed nine Palestinians and injured dozens.

“France recalls its keenness to respect international humanitarian law and the need to protect civilians in the occupied territories that lie with Israel, while the violence in the West Bank killed 30 Palestinians in January 2023 alone.”
