Gaza man dies of wounds sustained during border protests

GAZA, A Gaza man identified as Mohammad Abu Daqqa, 22, died on Wednesday night of wounds sustained during the May 14 protests at the Gaza border with Israel, according to the Abu Daqqa family.

WAFA correspondent in Gaza said Abu Daqqa was getting treatment at an East Jerusalem hospital where he was transferred after being critically injured by Israeli army gunfire.

A total of 135 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip by Israeli army gunfire since the outbreak of the March of Return border protests on March 30. More than 14,000 others were injured, many of them in critical condition.
