Health Minister, Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, today met her Omani counterpart, Dr. Helal bin Ali Al Sabti, on the sidelines of the 75th World Health Assembly (WHA), held the Palais des Nations in Geneva on May 21-30.

Dr. Hasan stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman in various fields.

She commended efforts aimed at developing and improving the performance of health systems and raising their efficiency in a sustainable manner.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed key issues of common interest, focusing on regional and internal health developments.

The Omani minister stressed the importance of strengthening the continuous cooperation that links the, especially with regard to the health sector. .
