ATHENS, The Hellenic Film Commission welcomed today representatives of the State of Palestine at the Greek Film Centre in Athens.

Mrs Bothaina Hamdan, General Director of International and Public Relations of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture, accompanied by Mrs Fadwa Abushanab, Third Secretary of the State of Palestine, met with the General Director of the Greek Film Centre, Mrs Athena Kartalou, at the premises of the GFC.

Both sides discussed the possibility of future collaboration in the context of organizing screenings in both Greece and Palestine, the exploration of collaboration and coproduction opportunities, as well as training programs for cinema professionals in Palestine.

Finally, the Palestinian committee was briefed on the Palestinian productions’ filming in Greece, serviced or coproduced by Greek professionals.
