Israel notifies of demolition and stop construction work on nine houses in a Jenin-area village

The Israeli occupation authorities today delivered demolition and stop construction order to a Palestinian-owned house and stop-construction notices against eight others in the village of Jalboon, east of Jenin city, in the northern occupied West Bank, according to a local official.

Head of Jalboon village council, Ibrahim Abu al-Rub, told WAFA that the Israeli forces ordered one resident to stop work on his house and demolish it within 96 hours and handed notices to eight other residents ordering them to stop the construction work on their houses despite the fact that most of these houses are already inhabited.

He noted that the village council will appeal the Israeli orders to human rights organizations in order to pressure Israel to cancel them.
