Israeli army orders demolition of house under construction near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Israeli occupation forces notified today for the demolition of a Palestinian-owned house that is still under construction in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to Hani Fnoun, the Deputy Mayor of Nahalin.

He told WAFA that a local Palestinian resident was notified by the occupation army that he has 96 hours to demolish his two-storey house that is still in the construction stage under the pretext of not having an Israeli building permit.

Israel rarely grants construction permits to Palestinians in the West Bank’s Area C, which is under full Israeli military control, forcing many of them to build without a permit.
