Israeli forces assault Palestinian doctor near Tulkarm

TULKARM, A Palestinian doctor today sustained injuries and bruises after he was beaten by Israeli soldiers at the entrance of the village of Bayt Lid, east of the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm, WAFA correspondent confirmed.

 

She said that the Atef Joum’a, 28, sustained injuries in most parts of his body after he was brutally assaulted by Israeli soldiers following forcing him to get out of his vehicle at a checkpoint set up at the entrance of the said village.

 

Joum’a, from the village of Kafr Qaddum, in the Qalqiliya governorate, was taken to the Thabet Thabe hospital, where his condition was reported to be moderate.

 

Earlier today, Israeli settlers attacked a vehicle carrying a number of dialysis patients, near Huwara military checkpoint, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
