Israeli forces detain 3 Palestinians in West Bank, 3 others in Jerusalem

HEBRON, Israeli forces Saturday detained three Palestinians from the West Bank districts of Hebron and Jenin, in addition to three others from the Jerusalem area, said local sources.

Forces stormed the city of Hebron and detained two residents after raiding, searching, and wreaking havoc into their homes. They were taken to an unknown destination.

Forces further stormed several neighborhoods in the city and erected flying checkpoints at the entrances of several towns to the north of the city, stopping Palestinian registered vehicles and checking passengers identity cards, causing traffic jams.

Forces also detained a youth from Jenin refugee camp while he was present in the town of Silet al-Harthyeh to the south of Jenin.

Meanwhile, Israeli police detained three Palestinians in the East Jerusalem town of Silwan and led them to a detention center in the city of Jerusalem.
