Israeli police arrest two Jerusalemites

JERUSALEM, Israeli police last night arrested two Palestinian young men from the Old City of occupied Jerusalem after extremist settlers assaulted the two in the area, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent said although extremist Jewish settlers assaulted Nasri and Ali Farawi while they were partaking in the preparations for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan in the Old City just outside al-Aqsa Mosque compound, Israeli police arrested them.

The two were taken to a nearby detention center.
