Israeli police detains two 15-year-old children in East Jerusalem neighborhood

JERUSALEM, � Israeli police present in large numbers in the occupied East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan detained two 15-year-old Palestinian children following confrontations with residents, according to Wadi Hilweh Information Center.

It said residents confronted the police force after it had entered the neighborhood in large numbers.

Police fired stun grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at the stone-throwers and arrested the two children.
