HEBRON, An Israeli settler attempted this afternoon to run over Palestinian children in Masafer Yatta in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to a local resident.

Mamdouh Abu Tabikh, a resident, told WAFA that a settler driving a tractor sped toward four children aged between one and seven years in Ein al-Biyda area in an attempt to run them over but that he was able to get the children out of the way at the last moment.

He said the children were frightened by what has happened.

Abu Tabikh last week received a demolition order against his 170-square-meter house that shelters him and his family of seven people.
