Israeli settler runs over elderly near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, An Israeli settler Wednesday ran over an elderly Palestinian woman near the illegal Israeli settlement of Efrat, south of Bethlehem city in the southern West Bank, said a medical source.

Mohammad Awad, Director of the Palestinian Red Crescent First Aid and Emergency Section, said that 70-year-old Fatima Issa, a resident of Jurat Ash-Sham’a village, was rushed to Al-Yamama Hospital after she was run over by an Israeli settler.

According to Awad, she suffered shoulder dislocation bruises.
