RAMALLAH, Israeli settlers today vandalized Palestinian vehicles in Turmus Aya town, north of the West Bank city of Ramallah, according to security sources, the second settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in one day.
They said that a group of settlers sneaked into the town where they punctured the tires of several vehicles and scrawled anti-Palestinian and anti-Arab hate graffiti on the external walls of nearby houses.
Earlier today, settlers torched four Palestinian-owned vehicles in the northern West Bank village of Jaloud.
Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
There are over 700,000 Israeli settlers living in colonial settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
