Israeli troops injure a Palestinian boy in Beit Ummar

HEBRON, Israeli occupation forces today injured a 12-year-old Palestinian boy with gunfire in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the south of the occupied West Bank.

Mohammad Awad, a local activist who monitors Israeli human rights violations in the area, told WAFA that the child was hit with a rubber-coated steel round in the head by Israeli occupation soldiers while he was spending time with his family in a farm of theirs near the town.

The child was rushed to Alia Hospital in nearby Hebron city for medical treatment, where his condition was described as stable.

On Friday, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy was killed by Israeli occupation army during clashes in the village of Deir al-Hatab, in the occupied West Bank province of Nablus.
