Land razed, trees uprooted in south of West Bank

BETHLEHEM, Israeli military bulldozers Thursday razed Palestinian agricultural land and uprooted olive trees in the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to Ahmad Salah, a local activist.

He told WAFA that a 5-dunum plot of land owned by Mohammad Mousa and located between two illegal Jewish settlements, both built on al-Khader land, was leveled and olive trees uprooted in what is believed to be a plan to expand the settlements.

He said this was not the first time Israel has raze Palestinian land in that area to expand the illegal settlements.
