Lawmaker among 19 Palestinians detained in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH� Israeli forces detained early Wednesday at least 19 Palestinians, including a lawmaker, during a wide-scale campaign across the occupied West Bank districts, according to local and security sources.

Army detained Hasan Yousef, member of the Hamas-affiliated Reform and Change bloc in the Palestine Legislative Council, after raiding his house in Beitunia, to the west of Ramallah. Israeli army also detained three other Palestinians from Ramallah area.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested eight Palestinians from Hebron district, five from Nablus, and one each from Jenin and Tubas.
