Mohammed bin Rashid visits FEWA’s new ‘Control and Monitoring Center’ in UAQ

WAM Umm al-Qaiwain, Jan 10th, 2013 (WAM) –Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inspected today the ‘New Control and Monitoring Center’ at Federal Electricity and Water Authority FEWA office in Umm al Qaiwain.

During the tour, the Vice President was briefed on electronic devices, equipments besides other sophisticated facilities in the centre, which serves the electricity and water sector in Umm al-Qaiwain, Ajman, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed bin Dhaen Al Hamili, Minister of Energy, Lt. General Musabbeh Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Office of the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General Of Protocol Department, Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, Director General of the UAE Federal Electricity ‘&’ Water Authority (FEWA) were accompanying Sheikh Mohammed during the tour.

He also visited the ‘Customer Service Centre’ of FEWA in Umm al Qaiwain and was briefed on the facilities provided by the centre for citizens and residents as well as services concerning to the centre.

Sheikh Mohammed ordered all the necessary facilities to the centre for the provision of high standard services as well as electricity and water to citizens and other residents alike.
