Nineteen deaths, 867 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Palestine in the last 24 hours

RAMALLAH, Nineteen people have died in Palestine in the last 24 hours after contracting the coronavirus disease as 867 new cases were confirmed and 1737 patients have recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

She said in her daily report on the pandemic in Palestine that 12 of the deaths, 685 of the new cases, and 1300 of the recoveries were in the Gaza Strip while seven deaths, 182 new cases and 437 recoveries were in the West Bank.

Alkaila said 171 patients are getting treatment for the coronavirus in hospitals and 82 are in intensive care while 18 patients are on ventilators.

She said 2,293,408 of Covid-19 shots have been given; 1,666,195 in the West Bank, and 627,213 in the Gaza Strip.
