Occupation forces detain two Palestinians, injure two others in Nablus

Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinians and injured two others by gunfire during a raid today on Askar refugee camp, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, according to medical and local sources.

WAFA correspondent quoted sources in the Palestinian Red Crescent as saying that an Israeli army force raided the camp and deployed snipers on rooftops of houses, as the forces besieged and ransacked a house in the camp and arrested two Palestinian residents: a father, Nasser Musa Naqib, 47, and his son, Mohammad, 21.

Confrontations erupted between the attacking forces and local residents as a result of the raid, during which the Israeli troops fired live shots, rubber-coated rounds and teargas, lightly injuring at least two Palestinians and causing others to suffocate from gas inhalation.
