Occupation police assault, detain three brothers in Jerusalem’s Al-Isawiya

JERUSALEM, Israeli occupation forces last night physically assaulted and arrested three Palestinian brothers after raiding their home in the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of Al-Isawiya, local sources said.

Belal, Mohammad and Sultan Abu-Al-Hummus were reportedly beaten up by Israeli Police officers who raided their home and arrested them. At least one of them needed hospitalization as a result of the beating.

A fourth brother of the three siblings was also briefly detained by the Israeli occupation forces, before he was let go.

The occupied Jerusalem neighborhood witnessed clashes over the last four days against the backdrop of the ongoing Israeli violations of human rights, including demolition of Palestinian homes in the city.

Earlier last night, Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Hebon, south of the occupied West Bank, and detained three Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes. All of the three are said to be former political prisoners in Israeli jails.
