Palestinian detainee sentenced to life in Israeli prisons

JENIN, Mohammad Mraweh Kabaha, a Palestinian from the village of Tura al-Gharbiya in the West Bank province of Jenin, was sentenced today to a life in Israeli prisons and a fine of three million shekels ($936,600), today said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Kabaha has been in Israeli detention since 24 December 2020. His two-floor home, which shelters his wife and four children, was also punitively demolished by the Israeli occupation forces on 10 February 2021.

Kabaha is one of more than 4,500 Palestinian prisoners and detainees currently incarcerated by Israel for the resistance of the Israeli occupation of their homeland.
