Palestinian embassies in Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia close their doors due to coronavirus

RAMALLAH, The Palestinian embassies in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar shut down their doors today until further notice after a number of coronavirus cases were discovered among their employees, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The ministry in a statement said that six cases were recorded in the Palestinian embassy in Qatar, one case was recorded in our embassy in Saudi Arabia, and another case in our embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

All embassies were shut down to perform deep disinfection and cleaning, while appropriate contact tracing is completed.
