RAMALLAH, Two people died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours and 250 new cases were recorded, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

One death was reported in each of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip while 145 new cases and 39 recoveries were recorded in the West Bank and 105 new cases and 210 recoveries in the Gaza Strip.

Alkaila said 73 corona patients are being hospitalized and 40 are in intensive care, while nine are on ventilators.

Over 1.4 million people have been vaccinated twice against the coronavirus in Palestine and over 121,000 people received the booster shot.
