RAMALLAH, A number of Palestinians were Tuesday injured, while others were detained, during clashes that broke out with Israeli forces near Bab al-Amoud, in the occupied city of Jerualem, according to sources.
Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli forces violently assaulted protesters near Bab al-Amoud, severely beating them and spraying skunk water on them, which resulted in many getting injured and suffocated.
They added that the forces also detained a number of protestors and took to nearby police stations.
In the West Bank, five Palestinians were injured during clashes with Israeli forces in Beit Jala; three with live bullets and two who suffered from suffocation, according to the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry also confirmed that three Palestinians were shot with live bullets by Israeli soldiers, and were taken a hospital in Salfit.
Dozens of Palestinians were injured with live and rubber bullets, and others suffered from suffocation, in Nablus during clashes with the Israeli forces.
16 Palestinians were injured with live bullets, and two others with rubber bullets. They were taken to Palestine’s Medical Complex.
In Ramallah-district village of Ni’lin, three Palestinians were shot, while dozens suffered from suffocation, during clashes with the Israeli forces.
