Palestinians injured in Nablus-area clashes

NABLUS, Palestinian residents in al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya village to the south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, fended off today evening an attack by Israeli settlers against the village, leading to clashes with Israeli forces, according to a local activist.

Local sources said residents fended off settlers who attempted to break into the village, leading to clashes with Israeli army soldiers who provided protection to settlers.

Forces fired rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters toward residents, causing several injuries and suffocation cases among them.
