President Abbas receives a call from his Turkish counterpart

RAMALLAH, Thursday, President Mahmoud Abbas received on Thursday a telephone call from his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyeb Erdogan.

The two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region, particularly the last Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.

President Erdogan condemned the Israeli aggression and expressed readiness to provide assistance and treat the wounded in Gaza.

President Abbas thanked Erdogan for his support and the support of the Turkish people to the Palestinian people and its just cause, as well as Turkey’s firm stand in support of the Palestinian people.
