His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces attended the meeting.
Prince Salman conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The meeting covered the strong sisterly relations, coordination and joint cooperation between the countries in all fields for the benefit of the two peoples within the march of the GCC States.
They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the regional and international arena, as well as issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Khalifa affirmed the UAE’s keenness to develop and enhance stability in Bahrain, expressing his hope that the Kingdom will witness further progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
For his part, Prince Salman expressed his happiness on visiting the UAE and his meeting with Sheikh Khalifa, expressing his thanks, appreciation and pride for the UAE’s support towards Bahrain in achieving more stability and development for the good of its people.
The Bahraini Crown Prince expressed his pride in the strong and vibrant sisterly relations between the UAE and his country, citing the brotherly and honest feelings of Sheikh Khalifa towards the people and leadership of Bahrain, which represents a model for the GCC states’ relations and cooperation.
Sheikh Khalifa reciprocated greetings to King Hamad and Prince Khalifa bin Salman, wishing them health and happiness and further progress and prosperity for the people of Bahrain.
Among those who attended the meeting were H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Eastern Region, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Sheikh Hazza bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Under Secretary of the Court of the Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, Ahmed Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
From the Bahraini side, those who attended the meeting included Sheikh Mohammed Bin Essa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Political and Economic Affairs, Court of the Crown Prince of Bahrain, Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, other Sheikhs and Mohammad Bin Hamad Saqr Al Moawada, Bahrain’s ambassador to the UAE.
