JERICHO, A Palestinian herder sustained minor injuries today after he was attacked by a group of Israeli settlers near the village of Fasayel, in the occupied West Bank province of Jericho.
Deifallah Qrenat, 55, said he was grazing his sheep near the village when a group of Israeli settlers attacked and unleashed their dogs to attack him.
He added that the settlers hurled stones at him as he tried to fend off the attack, causing him injuries and bruises across his body.
Attacks and vandalism by Israeli settlers are commonplace across the occupied Palestinian Territories, and are rarely prosecuted by the Israeli occupation authorities.
