The media committee of the Shura Council Elections’ 10th term held its first meeting today under the chairmanship of Mohammed Said Al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Chairman of the Committee.

The meeting discussed the media plan aimed at providing coverage for the elections in a manner that reflects the significance of the event.

The also touched on the matter of preparing an action plan that seeks to raise citizens’ awareness about modern methods of organizing elections, notably during the forthcoming 10th Term of the Shura Council.

The meeting discussed media preparedness in terms of roles to be undertaken by print media, radio, television and electronic media. Ends/Bishara/AG
