The Shura Council’s Bureau has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing Bahrain and the Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns of the blessed occasion.

The Shura Council’s Bureau, which convened here today under the Chairmanship of Shura Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, expressed pride in HM the King’s praise of the important role played by the legislative branch in enhancing the development process and consolidating the democratic process.

The Bureau also valued highly the directives made by HM King Hamad while receiving the Shura Chairman and Speaker of the Council of Representatives, alongside their deputies and committee chairmen.

The Shura Council’s Bureau hailed the outstanding success of the kingdom’s hosting of the 146th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and related meetings, noting that it has added a new milestone to the national and democratic achievements attained by the kingdom during HM the King’s prosperous era.
