Students suffocate from Israeli tear gas east of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, Dozens of Palestinian students Wednesday suffocated after Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters outside a school in Tuqu’ town, east of Bethlehem, said a local activist.

Sabri Jabril, a local activist, told WAFA that Israeli forces raided the town, triggering confrontations with students, during which the forces fired tear gas canisters outside Tuqu’ Secondary Boys School, causing dozens of students to suffocate

He added that soldiers threatened the principal to close the school and sealed the northern entrance of the town.
