Two deaths, 130 new coronavirus cases in Palestine in 24 hours – Health Minister

Two coronavirus patients have died in Palestine in the last 24 hours and 130 new cases were recorded, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

 

She said in her daily report on coronavirus in Palestine that one death was recorded in the West Bank, where 17 new cases were also recorded and 24 patients have recovered, and one death in the Gaza Strip where 113 new cases were recorded and 251 recovered.

 

Alkaila said out of 14 corona patients still treated in hospitals, seven are in intensive care, among them one is attached to a ventilator.

 

She said 98.2 percent of the total coronavirus patients since the outbreak of the disease in Palestine in March of last year have recovered, 0.7 percent remain active, and 1.1 percent have died.

 

At least 421,894 people have been vaccinated against the corona disease in the West Bank and 68,188 in the Gaza Strip.
