Two people killed in road accidents last week, says police

RAMALLAH, Two people were killed and 170 others injured in 266 traffic accidents that occurred in the West Bank last week, the police said in a press statement on Sunday.

It said 11 of the injuries were moderate while 159 were light.

The police also said that out of 9,140 vehicles tested last week, permits of 82 vehicles were canceled for lack of safety conditions, while 3,317 notices of traffic violation were issued to drivers.
