UPDATED: 10 Palestinians shot, injured during clashes at northern entrance to al-Bireh

AL-BIREH, At least 16 Palestinians were injured today during clashes that broke out with Israeli forces at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city, according to Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

Israeli forces attacked a rally that took place at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city to mark the 74th anniversary of the 1948 Nakba (Catastrophe), leading to clashes.

PRCS said it dealt with at least 16 injuries, including seven by live ammunition and three by rubber-coated steel bullets, fired by Israeli forces at protesters.

Four people reportedly suffocated due to tear gas inhalation, in addition to a burn injury.
