Venezuela’s Madura reiterates support for Palestinians in meeting with Foreign Minister

CARACAS, Saturday, Venezuelan President Nicolas Madura reiterated with the start of his second term in office during a meeting with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Malki on Saturday his country’s support for the Palestinian struggle for freedom and independence.

Madura condemned anti-Palestinian and anti-Venezuelan measures by the United States Administration, describing them as inhumane and a violation of international law.

Malki congratulated Madura on behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas for his re-election and wished him success in serving the Venezuelan people, who Malki said have always stood by the Palestinian people in their struggle for self-determination and to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The two sides discussed as well strengthening bilateral relations.
