Youth injured in an attack by Israeli soldiers in Hebron

HEBRON, A Palestinian young man was injured today in an assault by Israeli occupation soldiers in downtown Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Samer Zahdeh told WAFA that he was driving his vehicle through Shalaleh Street in Hebron when a group of Israeli soldiers asked him to stop, fired teargas canisters at his vehicle and smashed its windshields as they embarked on beating him, causing him bruises and cuts.

Meantime, illegal Israeli settlers broke into the neighborhood of Wadi Hasin in the city and punctured the tires of four vehicles belonging to Palestinians in the area.

Also meantime, Israeli occupation soldiers assaulted Palestinian farmers working in their own land in the village of At-Tuwani, south of Hebron, and forced them to leave under the pretext that the land is close to the illegal Israeli settlement of Havat Maon, WAFA correspondent said.
