ABU DHABI: A new early learning center will be open by Zayed University (ZU) next February in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, to serve for toddlers with course in both Arabic and English.
The Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) will seek excellence in the care and education of young children between 6 months and 4 years with full-time highly experienced teaching staff and caretakers.
A special environment supportive of language development, cognitive social-emotional growth, motor and skills and innovation of children will be provided at the new center, according to assistant professor at ZU’s College of Education Lydia Barza.
The Center will also foster the educational development of young children in the bilingual and inclusive program, supports the training of early childhood teachers, and serves as a research environment to study language and child development.
