Riyadh: Export Bahrain announced its participation for the second consecutive year in the Biban Global Forum 2024, held in Saudi Arabia. The participation showcases a Bahrain pavilion, led by Export Bahrain and supported by the Labour Fund "Tamkeen." According to Bahrain News Agency, this year, the pavilion features 15 Bahraini startups from the creative sector, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem and fostering innovation. The forum, hosted by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) of Saudi Arabia, is under the theme "Global Destination for Opportunities" and is ongoing until November 9. Tamkeen's support aligns with its 2024 strategic priorities, under three pillars: increasing economic participation through employment opportunities for new market entrants, expanding career development opportunities available to the Bahraini workforce, and further developing the private sector by supporting enterprises to drive impact and sustainable deve lopment in the economy. As one of the leading global platforms for entrepreneurship, BIBAN 2024 is dedicated to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem and will unite more than 250 local and international entrepreneurs and showcase more than 1350 exhibitors. The event offers a valuable platform for networking and knowledge exchange among decision-makers, investors, and entrepreneurs, fostering a culture of innovation and business growth within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The local companies participating in Bahrain's pavilion have the opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions, connect with industry leaders globally, and explore new business opportunities, contributing to building strategic partnerships and exploring new avenues for expansion.
