Bangkok: Authorities in Thailand announced that 27 people died in a fire that broke out in a restaurant in the capital, Bangkok, before firefighters were able to bring it under control. According to Oman News Agency, Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul stated that authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, confirming that the circumstances are still under investigation. He added that the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
